Take a Leap of Faith
Waiting in the Jury room yesterday, I met a gentleman who would be the catalyst for the company I would launch to mentor and inspire children across London.
We discussed our professions and things we liked to do outside of work. Both very much into helping others, he very soon began mentoring me to tap into my potential so I could be better placed to realise my vision.
Within a couple of hours, Al-AraimyINSPIRE was born, a company that had great potential to mentor and inspire students, to help them realise their dreams. The company will launch with its first video on YouTube, which will be the medium by which students and adults alike, across the world would benefit.
The gentleman told me that everyone has ideas but very few go out and make them a reality. You need to take a step of faith.
It was at that point I recalled the words from Les Brown:
"The graveyard is the richest place on earth, because it is here that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, the books that were never written, the songs that were never sung, the inventions that were never shared, the cures that were never discovered, all because someone was too afraid to take that first step, keep with the problem, or determined to carry our their dream."
At this point I thought.... I'll take a leap of faith.
